What do I read?

I've been asked this a few times. What kind of things do I read? Sometimes, I'll try to be funny with the answer. Generally, I'll say anything with words, except romances. When I was young, romances were named for a specific publisher, and they were not well thought of by most men or boys.

I have read some romance pieces and enjoyed them. Even some Romantasy, as they are being called now. Which sums up nicely what I read. I read what I enjoy, whether it's mythology, science, fantasy or none of those; I read what I read because I enjoy it. Because it makes me feel something, or experience something.

Isn't that what stories are really for?
